Wow KanedaShima, it seems to me that you think you know more then just about everyone, funny how that works eh. Oh, and as for thyroids, a gastric bypass would do nothing about them, do your research you idiot. Stop trying to correct people who are better then you. Anyone can be psychotic, and anyone can be normal, anyone can be mean, and anyone can be nice. So to say that things like that about people just becuase they have weight problems is TOTALY unfair. To me you sound like some anerexic little pansy, who has no friends and thinks he know everything. Man, shut up already, everyone is getting sick of hearing from you, and everyone is getting REALLY sick of being corrected by some child who knows jack sh*t about anything.

Fallen Soul, reincarnation is reality. Everyone who is morbidly obese lived previous lives wrong, tantamount to suicide. I knew a really fat woman (was unable to walk a block down the street), and she told everyone it was her Thyroid. She recently got a gastric bypass and everyone realized she was lying and making a general fool out of everyone who showed her they cared. (Gastric bypass or stomach staple actually makes physically impossible to put large amounts of food into your system.) The woman simply ate huge amounts UNTIL it changed everything about her body and personality. She was beyond hormones and beyond giving a damn what she did to others around her. She still bullies and manipulates people and she`s still a psychotic fat lady inside. Fortunately karma exists to come to the rescue. . . . So you shouldn`t get your panties into a twist when I joke that guys like Lardest Gump over here should keel over and die. It doesn`t matter what I want or you want. He`ll die if HE wanted.

Bang you are absolutely wrong, if you are talking about morbidly obese people, like I am, as opposed to the merely overweight. Morbidly obese people are unable to control themselves or take care of themselves. They hurt other people and nearly all of them are mentally and emotionally challenged. Maybe you`ve never met someone healthy before to draw a comparison, or maybe you`re insecure about your own body. I think you`ve definitely been miseducated, and I wouldn`t want to have you presuming to teach me anything. Why don`t you go suck off some fat boys if you love them so much. I`d rather you do that than try to talk to me.

suzimn, seriousley, like I posted before, he states right in his journal that this is so that he has something to acomplish besides losing weight. He is going to push himself to do this becuase it is such a big goal, but if he were to just go to a gym and diet and stuff, he would probably have wuit a long time ago. Sorry if that sounded rude at all, I didn`t mean it to be.

Why would we be anngry at someone who is running across the US to become fitter. And how could hurt us? AND WHY IS IT OFFENSIVE? It`s not like he`s saying, "geez, fat people are people too, you in shape people aren`t so cool after all". So he`s just getting some attention. Big whoop. Besides he would need money from his website sponser links to pay off while he doesn`t work.

I think its great that he his trying to do something about it but if he just eat right and did a bit of exercise then he would get the same results a lot easier.

I think it`s fantastic that he is getting off his duff and doing something to change his weight issue. Seems to me that walking is a very good way to start, especially when overweight. It is easier on the joints than jogging would be with the extra poundage.

Lol, actually x_omni_x, they become obese by making bad choices, they don`t directly deside to be obese. They think "I`m hungry, I`ll just have a burger" not "Wow, you know what would be fun, it would be real fun get obese, yup, I`m gonna go get me a burger" lol. I know a few people who are obese. Actually, my Uncle is sort of obese, but it`s odd becuase he would look so messed up if he didn`t have a huge belly, becuase his rib cage is SO big, like, he was born big framed (Lol, big boned doesn`t exist, big framed though, like barrel chested, does), and other people I know it`s their thyroids (Or however it`s spelled) and some people have eating disorders, like, they aren`t eating to get fat, but they are eating becuase it`s comfort food. So they don`t DIRECTLY choose to be obese, but I sort of see where your coming from with that.

I really hopes this man can get happy with himself again... Its not easy for an overweight person to actually get up and do somthing about it.

I feel so sorry for him turning out like that, but Im sure this will save his life..

Actually, most people become obese by choice. Still, Kaneda`s an assh*le.

Rock on. More power to him... I would love to be around when he passes to cheer him on. So you think he`s trying to get attention, Kanedash*thead? I think he`s trying to get encouragement... just wait until you hit YOUR thirties (if someone doesn`t off you by then for being an idiot) and you see how tough it can be to stay fit when your body starts changing. I see patients every day who are DESPERATE to lose weight, and have given up on trying to do it by diet and exercise because they get no encouragement in our fast food society... this guy deserves support for taking a stand and setting an example for others in his shoes.

KanedaShima, HOW is it offensive that he is trying to do something with his life and trying to encourage others?

I think it`s great that the man is trying to do something, and not just sit around and complain about how fat he is. =)

Throughout the years, I`ve learned that it`s not wrong to be angry at people who take others at face value. Also, saying that someone is offensive for trying to better themselves is just a plea for attention from sick, twisted people who will grow up with only broken dreams.

Go be a jerk somewhere else, KanedaShima.

I think it`s great he decided to do something about his weight. Some people will just sit on the couch with a couple bags of potato chips and watch T.V. all day, every day. I do think that the real way to lose weight is to be active and DO something. Not to go through an expensive surgury or waste money on diet pills or shakes or food that `claim` to help fat people lose weight.

It`s vaguely offensive. Fat boy`s ploy for attention he`s not healthy to get otherwise. The morbidly obese do not deserve much encouragement, and I`ve about decided it`s not wrong to be angry at such people. The hurt many more people than just themselves. They are unable to think properly. So he has his little web page and his little friends cheering him on. Great. I hope he collapses and gets run over.

i think that because hes walking across the US and not running a treadmill is better because halfway through he cant just give up and go home without more of a struggle. "wata pimp" and how.

Thats a neat idea but I wouldn`t think it would be the most effective way to lose weight. Wouldn`t jogging on a treadmill or something each day accomplish the same thing faster?
