Holy potatoes... o_o; The documentary was over-dramatized (as most usually are), but still pretty interesting nonetheless...

I can`t help but get the feeling that the people who made this video are proper loving the hornets - with the rock music playing in the background and the strange sense of awe in his voice... I have to say... thats a bit sad. Its just a bunch of insects.

friggin awesome...

for those who are math inclined... 30 hornets killing 30000 bees in 3 hours equals out to roughly 6 bees killed per hornet every minute for 3 hours straight...

Even though those hornets where bad ass, here in southwest united states we have something worse. In arizona we have a particular species of Tarantula hawk which is a hornet, the largest of its kind. The sting is the third most painfull insect sting in the world...look it up.

I think its funny how we are scared to death of stupid little bees and those hornets just fly in and kill them like nothing...it was freaking awesome. We should get some of those hornets to kill killer bees. I`d like to see THAT battle!

Hornets own EUROPEAN bees but Japanese bees can kick their asses by swarming round them, and vibrating their wings heating the hornet up, cooking it. And as well the hornets were after the bee larvae primarily, not the honey

You wanna bet? You`ll come out on top if you have fast acting pesticides and a protective suit... otherwise those bees will lay you out. Even if you aren`t allergic, a large bee attack can still be dangerous and even fatal.
