    I have Xp pro evaluation copy.
    Nothing is compatable with it but you dont get any viruses, yet.

    Um, yeah, I highly doubt this is even legal, and if it is, then it probably breaks the liscence agreement...

    If true, I think that is sad.

    I also have XP Pro (32-bit). I`d actually be trying the evaluation of XP Pro 64-bit but apparently you need special drivers, and I didn`t feel like going out to find them. (The disk wouldn`t install without a 64-bit hard-drive driver and the site didn`t list one available, so I didn`t bother.)

    If you`re gonna do that you might as well just find a mate that can get you a copy. Fractionally less dodgy than messing with your registry and doesn`t require quite so much technical skill.

    I have to disagree. Anything in the EULA that says you can`t make a change this simple is most likely non-prosecutable. Software companies put terms that they can`t actually enforce in the EULA all the time, and in many cases the whole thing gets thrown out if it gets to court.
