It was stupid. You can take off and add parts in only two seasons, locking and unlocking the bike from the place.

At least in my town we save some time in cutting the chain instead of cutting it into pieces one season at a time.

Er...what was all that about? And if you left a bike like that in Amsterdam it would have been gone within seconds.

That`s right, I don`t think there`s a lot of theft going on in merry ol` sweden. =)
Left my bike unlocked for an entire day outside an electronics store the other day, it was there, after closing hours, untouched. =D Bet that`d never happen in the states! =)

SEVEN YEARS? So I`m guessing Scandinavia has legalized crack and gives it to every homeless person, and all the kids get a free bike on every birthday, that`s the only reason I can think of not even the seat missing. Even here in Canada, that bike would be gone faster than the snow hits the ground.

anyways: people dont start stealing so fast in Sweden. I don`t suppose this was a very big place either. A friend of mine has her bike locked up to a bus stop, and it still stands whole after seven years or so.. She doesnt use it anymore.. But thats Scandinavia... We don`t have to steal everything because we can...

Maybe the bike was no longer useful in some way. It WAS a bit sad to see it slowly waste away, even though it`s just an object.

That would have been a whole lote better if it weren`t so bad. Speed it up, fewer pictures = more interesting :p

also it wasnt a full year, it took place over the course of the winter, the snow just melted away and came back, so probably a month tops.

O.o Ummm, ok. Lol, yeah, just a little depressing, espcialy since I haven`t had a bike for three years, and they have them to spare, lol. They should have tried locking it up in New York, or LA, I garantee it wouldn`t have lasted a year, lol.
