Link: Live-Shot.com - Shoot real guns in an actual shooting range or even hunt and kill animals ONLINE. Disturbing? I`d say so.

This site is an insult to those who like to shoot. Why is this site even around? It takes all the sport out of shooting.

Hunting is, indeed, sport. In fact, it curbs an animal population from taking over, and is much more humane than the sort of thing that happens on factory farms.

Hang on, hang on, hang ON!

Shooting at a paper target is a sport.

    Hunting is _not_ a sport.

Deuterostome wrote: "it curbs animal population from taking over".

Scuse me? Taking over what? Our forests? Our fields? The White House? Unless you are hunting rats (which I very much doubt you do), all you do is hurting animals for NO other purpose than your own personal enjoyment.

Deuterostome wrote: " is much more humane than the sort of thing that happens on factory farms".

I have no idea how the factory farms in your country are run, but in my country the laws on animal care, handling and transportation are very strict, and are generally adhered to. The people running these farms are proffessionals i.e. they do what they do for a living.

How many people make a living being hunters?

    How many hunters are amateurs?

How often do a hunter miss the "humane" instantly killing shot?

To me i see it this way, if you hunt then hunt, if you dont then dont. No one should fight about it. It`s personal choice just like everything is in our great country.

For all the hunters out there, how would u like it if i came after you with a rifle and shot u down just because it`s `fun`. Where im from its called murder! and could i use the excuse `i was just keeping the population down`? i dont think so!!

the logic that we must "kill animals or else they will die" is skewed at best... btw, yourgrandma --

    Assimilate13, I know right?
If you can`t spell, don`t try to make a big point, it just makes you look like a fool.

But anyways, I think 99% of sport hunting is done by retarded rednecks with small penises. If you deny that this is true, you are most likely in that 99%.

Hunt for food, hunt for fur, hunt for products you can get from the animal, I don`t care. But don`t hunt to simply just HUNT.

    That is all.

I remember seeing this on tv about maybe a year ago. It`s pretty disturbing to me...I mean the animal doesn`t have a chance whatsovever. Hunting has always been a controversial issue to discuss and I just don`t see the logic in hunting in this respect, because it`s not about survival and the circle of life, it all about pleasure, which I find pretty hard to swallow.

I am against hunting, but I`m not a Nazi about it. What I thought was DISTURBING was the fact that you can do the shooting/hunting from the comfort of your broken-in, over-used, nearly busted office chair like a lazy fatass.

I think if you`re going to hunt, you should have to chase after the animal, catch it and fight it to the death. You shouldn`t be able to just Point `N Click. Sick.

i agree diemorondie -- if you are going to kill something, you should at least have to look it in the eyes first... i am totally against hunting (unless we`re talking about native/indigenous people who honor and thank the animal and use all of its parts), but jeez, if you are going to do it, at least get up off your ass and show a little respect....

Animals don`t have a retirement home. There`s no "Golden Acres" for deer.
    Let`s just make that clear.

And I`m sorry, I do love animals, but we have a herd of about twenty deer living in our backyard (which is about the size of an acre). They aren`t so cute after they`ve pooped all over your deck and eaten all of your saplings. Plus we can`t go outside because the bucks will charge you. I really don`t feel safe in my backyard anymore.

    I approve of hunting...
But I don`t approve of this silly "point and click" hunting. That isn`t hunting.
Hunting is becoming a part of nature and trying to stalk prey, like a predator would, using your wits to kill an animal for meat and furs.

    That is hunting.

how did animals live without us humans keeping the population down before we were around? THAT must be why the dinosaurs went extinct, humans wern`t there to kill them off.

I think hunting is fine, as long as you EAT the animal afterwards. so i`ts death is actually worth it. i mean if i was going to die, i would hope there was a purpose, who wants to die for someone else to have five seconds of entertainment?
btw geckosrock ....it`s called an ecosystem. =o mother nature has everything all balanced out so everything can live peacefully together. that is, until humans came along. but that`s another story.

Humans fit into the ecosystem until they started to form settlements and such. After that happened we alienated ourselves from nature as much as possible. Sad, isn`t it?

hunting isn`t murder. it`s the circle of life. people eat meat (even if you don`t). get over it. hunting is a big deal in my state because it is mandatory to control populations (particularly of deer). this doesn`t seem like terrorism to me because there would be nobody to shoot. i think, outside of a few bugs, this is a good idea, particularly for (as Homer Jay pointed out) the handicapped.

Hunting is a natural part of who human beings are. I condone controlled hunting (lest we hunt anything into extinction) as long as you are going to eat what you kill. It doesn`t make sense to kill an animal just for a trophy. I also think that it`s more sporting to hunt with a knife and bow and the guns brought along only fore emergencies like a bear attack.

This site is just dumb though. No sport. The animals have no scents or noises to warn tem of the camouflaged danger. Additionally, it takes the skill out of target shooting because you aren`t relying on hand / eye and steadiness.

I totally agree with you here. People can`t say that "hunting" is wrong because face it we need hunters to survive. I mean where else would we get our meat but that`s not the issue here. The issue is should we allow someone in the comfort of their own home, to kill a literally defenseless animal. I don`t think it`s fair for the deer. At least give them a chance to hear or smell you.

I actually can`t believe there`s a site like this. I am in agreement with all the anti hunting posts on here but I was and am so incensed by this I felt I just had to respond. Hunting should only be done by the people who hunt for their meals. These people have full respect for the animals they kill for their food and they certainly don`t see their rifle, (or spears), as an extention of thir dicks like you small prick, hunting morons do! My other point is that, again, as human beings we STILL think we have the God given right to `control` nature. I would like to point out that if it wasn`t for us ruining this planet the way we have by building it up in to a concrete poo-tip then nature would, and still can very, very efficiently in some natural places, look after itself. All you have to do is watch these brilliant and educational documentries about nature to see this. They hunt to survive not to give themselves some kind of sick kick!
