It just doesn`t make sense that you are preaching the morality of killing while telling people they are bastarts and such. Doesn`t make sense to me at all. *shakes head disgustedly*
Just becasue someone creates an amimation based around a real life tradegy, does not automatically make it a masterpiece.
As for people being obnoxious and flaming the animation, open your hearts and your eyes. This was made out of love and sympathy for people grieving. That day may have been quite a while ago, but people still remember and people still mourn. Think before you speak/type. It may be just words, but they can affect people. Please, have a bit of consideration.
Just my .02
Why the hell would I want to read your profile, your a piece of sh*t. And I pity your kid.
And then theres crap like this.
Which tries so freaking hard to pull our heartstrings, move us to tears, and inspire us with some campy, overused, artificial slogan about america or love. And of course it fails to do so, because its so obviously TRYING to be deeper than it is. Use of stock choker-uppers like children crying and "I love you," masks the fact that there is absolutely no REAL emotion or thought behind it, just halmark/disney synthetic american media bull****.
This movie was disrespectful to the victims and families of terrorist attacks throughout history, and the author would be well advised to stop trying to crank out false sentimentality under the guise of human feelings.
So i`d like to see you when one of your parents die. you would feel as worse as she felt. God! don`t you have feelings at all? or are you as heartless as i think?
As for "we don`t mourn the dead for everyone else", you ever take into consideration no one mourned for us? A lot of countries cheered at the attacks and deaths of 5,000 people, just because they were American. It doesn`t matter who they were or what kind of lives they lived, being American is enough to warrant being happy over someone`s demise. You can go further and say, does anyone here care about the people who died to the Black Plague? During wars in the 1600`s? You can`t expect someone to care about everyone who has ever lived and died. We are human, we have limitations. People in other countries care about their own countries` deaths more than they care about ours. It`s universal, really. I think also that 9/11 was hard on people because nobody ever thought something like that could happen, so don`t condemn people for caring. Otherwise, you`re encouraging people to become cold and heartless.
Sorry for the double post...
Africa is the hellhole of the world (no offense). There is famine, disease, civil wars, poverty, and slavery all throughout the continent there. Yes, I feel bad that people suffer die there, but the death toll there is enormous. Rather than mourning, people are trying to improve conditions there so this kind of stuff stops.
Deaths in Iraq, 20,000? I`ll admit, Iraq was probably a bad choice to go into simply because there are bigger threats (North Korea) out there. However, liberating a nation in the middle east by capturing its dictator not only improves the lives of millions in Iraq, but takes away a key factor in terrorism.
WWII: You didn`t mention the Jewish people Hitler killed. As for Japan, people still mourn for them.
Oh, and I watched it, didn`t cry. It was definitely sad, though. This was probably made a while back, ju
forgive my sarcasm but some people are just...blah.
Anyway, this was sad, and it made me think of some of the people that i`ve lost, which just made it worse.
it was probably dedicated to the guys girlfriend because she may have lost her dad or somthing on 9/11
no one cried when we americans sodomized little chidren and killed their parents during the vietnam war. and yet we call them soilders "veterans heros". drat off. All is fair love and war.
