You all need to stop letting these things influence you so much. They`re just meant to tug on the heartstrings, and that one was particularly stupid. Why make it a cartoon, for God`s sake?! The voice was annoying, and I wonder who, exactly, got some little girl to do it? Did they pay her? And why make it about 9/11? Plenty of little girls lose their "daddies" to other things, but no one bothers to make irritating heart-string-pullers for them.

xerasia, maybe if you had kids if wouldn`t be funny, and I believe you and Bloing, should have been in the trade towers so we could get rid of waste like you and maybe a certain little girl could have her daddy back...if we could only make that trade, I`d vote for it. And no one would have to insult one another if a$$holes like bloing didn`t make stupid comments about something like a litte 2 or 3 year old girl losing her dad.

"All is fair love and war." ...I’m sorry i guess most of us didn`t realize the attack on thousands innocent civilians, with no declaration of war, was an act of love or war..but thinking of it that way makes it all better!

forgive my sarcasm but some people are just...blah.

Anyway, this was sad, and it made me think of some of the people that i`ve lost, which just made it worse.

I don`t understand why people need to bring up 9/11 almost 4 years after it happened . 4 years!!! People die , sh*t happens . Rather than having sympathy for yourself because "OMG my country was completly victimized" what about the millions dieing and dead in places like Africa. What about the 20,000+ people who died as a result of the invasion into Iraq. I dont want to take away from peoples death but really alot worse has happened , in WW2 the american army slaughtered 100,000+ people in Japan. I personally think its very closed thinking to keep focusing one event that is insignificant in comparision to the rest of history even recent.800,000 were killed in Rwanda in 1993 , why didnt anyone care about that.

"what about the millions dieing and dead in places like Africa. What about the 20,000+ people who died as a result of the invasion into Iraq."

Africa is the hellhole of the world (no offense). There is famine, disease, civil wars, poverty, and slavery all throughout the continent there. Yes, I feel bad that people suffer die there, but the death toll there is enormous. Rather than mourning, people are trying to improve conditions there so this kind of stuff stops.

Deaths in Iraq, 20,000? I`ll admit, Iraq was probably a bad choice to go into simply because there are bigger threats (North Korea) out there. However, liberating a nation in the middle east by capturing its dictator not only improves the lives of millions in Iraq, but takes away a key factor in terrorism.

WWII: You didn`t mention the Jewish people Hitler killed. As for Japan, people still mourn for them.

Oh, and I watched it, didn`t cry. It was definitely sad, though. This was probably made a while back, ju

    *just posted recently.

As for "we don`t mourn the dead for everyone else", you ever take into consideration no one mourned for us? A lot of countries cheered at the attacks and deaths of 5,000 people, just because they were American. It doesn`t matter who they were or what kind of lives they lived, being American is enough to warrant being happy over someone`s demise. You can go further and say, does anyone here care about the people who died to the Black Plague? During wars in the 1600`s? You can`t expect someone to care about everyone who has ever lived and died. We are human, we have limitations.
People in other countries care about their own countries` deaths more than they care about ours. It`s universal, really. I think also that 9/11 was hard on people because nobody ever thought something like that could happen, so don`t condemn people for caring. Otherwise, you`re encouraging people to become cold and heartless.

    Sorry for the double post...

So i`d like to see you when one of your parents die. you would feel as worse as she felt. God! don`t you have feelings at all? or are you as heartless as i think?

Every once in a while, there comes along a great movie that has the perfect balance of depth, emotion, and visual style. A movie that inspires other authors to live up to it, and changes the way viewers think about the medium, and/or life in general.

And then theres crap like this.

Which tries so freaking hard to pull our heartstrings, move us to tears, and inspire us with some campy, overused, artificial slogan about america or love. And of course it fails to do so, because its so obviously TRYING to be deeper than it is. Use of stock choker-uppers like children crying and "I love you," masks the fact that there is absolutely no REAL emotion or thought behind it, just halmark/disney synthetic american media bull****.

This movie was disrespectful to the victims and families of terrorist attacks throughout history, and the author would be well advised to stop trying to crank out false sentimentality under the guise of human feelings.

that might not have been entirely about the world trade centre..i could have been about loosing someone you love, and they just linked it to that maybe?? i think the ppl on here should have more respect for a little girl, who has just lost her dad.

It was so deep for an animation, I cried as it was so sad. it brought memories back of my wonderful dad as he sadly died in a road accident whilst i was in the car. That song wasplaying in the background and i held his hand as he sipped away. xxx so so sad.

I think the animation was a bit over-done, but it was incredibly sweet for the man to make for his girlfriend. Though it said 9/11, I think it was generaly for people who have lost a parent or someone held close to them. It touched me because 4 yars ago, 3 months before 9/11, my father passed away.

As for people being obnoxious and flaming the animation, open your hearts and your eyes. This was made out of love and sympathy for people grieving. That day may have been quite a while ago, but people still remember and people still mourn. Think before you speak/type. It may be just words, but they can affect people. Please, have a bit of consideration.

    Just my .02

look215 and everybody else who says this is just a stupid cartoon, so what? ok, are you that dense that i have to explain this? when people die, whether its real or not, its a depressing issue. people get hurt, and its not something that just goes away. yeah, its just a cartoon, but its supposed to show us that because some terrorist pricks decide america sucks and theyre gonna kill a bunch of innocent people that theyre stereotyping into 1 huge group, that a lot of lives were permanently affected. if someone you knew was killed on 9/11 or some other similar instance, i bet you wouldn`t be such an inconsiderate f*cker about it.

Just becasue someone creates an amimation based around a real life tradegy, does not automatically make it a masterpiece.

I wouldn`t call it a masterpiece it just hits home when someone you love dies. It just shows people wat its like to have a friend/relative die like that. without saying goodbye.

I agree completely. It should of been them in the WTC along with all the other stupid f***s on here that had the audacity to say such malicious things. If there really is a Hell, im sure there is a special spot there reserved just for them. I would absolutly love to see them say that to peoples faces in real life, See how long they would last. How sick can some of you people get?! I have friends who have lost family because of 9/11 and the memory just doesn`t go away! My friends seriously suffered and the memory won`t just leave them! And sure there is other problems going on in the world, there always is but this girl, just like so many other people, has lost her father! She is gonna grow up without a dad..and if this her way of expressing how she feels why can`t we just let her do that?! It`s not hurting anyone! I just think some of you can go and rot in hell!!

That was pretty god damn funny BECAUSE it is BULLCRAP. WHy does someone make somthing like that. I was not sympathetic at all because it is way to over exagerated. Little girls cannot fathom the death of a parent at the age of 5-6. It usually kciks in around 9-10 when they really understand. Little kids just think that their dad is gone but will come back some day. As they get older they realize. Who would make somthing like this. Everybody knows what happened. I am uterly disgusted. And why do they have to add the music to make it even sadder for some people. That is nonsense. Next time dont make a flash video about it, instead to a video about how children are coping with death.
