Thanks for reminding me. You know, I was actually around when that happend ...
That`s why I said Euros were only used from 2002 onwards because (while every currency was linked to the Euro) there were no actual Euros around before that.

Bloing, you suck.

Thats about it...

Oh, and I am actually considering renting one, just to say I did. Good waste of about $700, but it would be a trip to say I rented a human being for a vacation.

Oh come on... The Germans idea of a sense of humor revolves around making fun of other people. If my joke wasn`t funny to you Mr.B.- then don`t laugh. As for the rest of your question, you will simply have to figure that out your self. Peace...

I do not consider "Dem niggas do anything for a Doich mark."[sic] to be sarcasm, let alone humour.
Please tell me you`re an American living in Europe, I can`t bear the thought of a European with such an American sense of humour and spelling (not to mention grammar).

And Matthias, the Euro as a currency has been existent since 1999. All currencies of the participating members were then locked and fixed against each other, so they had the value of the Euro, but not the form. The official Euro coins and bills were released on the first of January, 2002.

I liked the "Weird Al" Yankovic lookalike. So you get a German, he`s rented, AND he looks like "Weird Al" Yankovic. Yeah, quite strange.

If you were really living in Europe, Knowitall, you might`ve noticed that we`ve been using Euros since 1999.
