All right, first off, to those of you who think its fake because he was ready to record: Have you never called a company and heard the message that says "This call may be recorded for quality assurance" or something along those lines? Its pretty damn common.

As for why they called this guy, he was probably pulled from a list, possibly because he runs a software company and may be moderately wealthy. I was an insurance agent for a short while, and I`d have a huge stack of numbers to call which were gathered through various means. And I probably sounded a lot like that guy, stuttering around because I was nervous and didn`t know what to say when something came up that wasn`t on the script. You heard how many times he said "Just let me suggest one thing... I`m just going to send you something in the mail". He didn`t know what else to say because it wasn`t on the script and he hadn`t yet had experience.

And Aaron sounds like Quentin Tarantino.

"Christ, I hate scammers as much as the next guy, but getting your jollies from this kind of idiocy is almost as stupid as getting taken by one of them."
Yeah, I hate having fun, especially when it`s set up. That`s why I never watch TV, movies, plays, listen to the radio, or read a book.

I hate to pop everyone`s little warm-and-fuzzy superiority bubble, but it`s obvious the guy was on his first day or something and was being coached just to get the customer to agree to get something sent to him. Either that or it was all set up. An experienced scammer would never have wasted more than a minute on an idiot like that. It wasn`t even that clever. And I don`t know what it says that the guy was apparently all ready to record like that, but whatever it is, it probably just makes it all even more stupid.

"Uh, and he just happened to be recording his phone calls? How convenient."

Good observation, but they do hint about Aaron being "referred" by some one, possibly one of his clients...so maybe he knew Josh was going to call in advance?

Best part was the line "Oh no, that`s not what I mean, but if you want you and Josh can do your own thing." lmao

The scammer must be new at it, he`s trying to be a fast talker but he like nervously stutters after every sentence.
