Unbeknownst to dear Sylvester, little Tweetie had been hitting the gym of late. By the time it dawned on our feline antagonist that he was in mite of trouble, it was far too late to escape the airborne agony he would soon find himself subject to.
MEEEE TOOOOO haha. it confused me for a sec cause i had iab open in one tab and in another i was stumbling and then all of a sudden i had iab in both tabs :)
IF I HEAR ONE MORE PERSON SAY ITS PHOTO SHOPPED IM GOING TO RIP THEIR INTESTINES OUT!!! ITS NOT PHOTOSHOPPED!!! GEEZ!!!! IM SICK OF PPL SAYING THAT EVERY THING IS FREAKIN PHOTOSHOPPED!!! AND EVEN IF IT IS YOU DONT HAVE TO RUIN THE HUMOR!!! JUST LAGH AND GET ON WITH UR LIVES!!! D*[email protected]#$!
That pic is from a series of shots, taken by a woman I believe. She lives in Alaska and sells those pics on various products (I got a tote bag). Three bears Cove is the name if you want to see the other shots. Supposedly curiosity did not kill the cat! Maybe the eagle respected the cats bravery.
LordJonathon said ":You people think just because its walking over to it that they are going to fight? Its just curious. If the picture is real I bet the cat just sniffs around it and it flies away."
look there is nothing to it the eagle would win ha!! and shaggy ive got in a fierce fighyt with my cat and i havent lost my eyes yo idiot i just got realy long claw marks on my arm and if the eagle and the cat were to fight on solid ground the eagle would just flap its wing so it would now be one foot above ground and grab the cat and start pekking at it..god knows how messy it would get but the eagle would win i have a cat at home and im on the cats side i love cats my cat is realy fat andhe chases anny cat he sees out of the yard in seconds but if he were to meet an eagle there would be no battle so there you have it A CAT COULD NOT POSSSOBLY kill a eagle un lesss it was straperd down
All this arguing bout who would win!!!! Well I wouldn`t write the cat off, I saw a film of a cat seeing off a black bear recently!!! And who cares if its photoshoped, its damn funny!!!
Thanks for the lecture, Grandpa Crowe. You are indeed younger, and therefore haven`t learned yet that sometimes the underdog can win. In this case, everyone thinks the eagle would win but they would be surprised.
I once read a book about cats. Anybody who has a cat should know that when their cat is happy, and feels safe, it sticks its tail up in the air. If this cat saw the eagle as a threat, its tail would be down. So...Im not sure what to think about this picture.
i dont think its photoshopped!enyway if ya do thing it is what bit?i dont rely know mutch about photoshopping or something but 2 me it looks real!!if i was that cat i wold b pissing my self.lol.but sereosley i dont now who wold win the fite!!somebody shot try it some time lol.
Every body things everything is photoshopped! It doesn`t look photoshopped. And the cat doesn`t look angry...The cat looks like : "What is THAT?" *sniff sniff* Oh no..Its a bird....*runs away* ...Sounds like my cat...They chase squirrels. But they get scared of a frog. And new boxes when they come in our house. :D
ShaggyR, clearly you feel threatened by me now as I have given evidence to my side of the argument. You have resorted to insulting me and putting up your own false evidence. Think about the physics of a cat`s claws and you will see that it would be quite unlikely a man could have his eyes ripped out by a cat. There will indeed be more `minor` injuries caused by domestic cats than wild eagles, but it is for that reason. Humans keep a great many more cats as pets than eagles. My appologies for making the assumption that because you are older than I that you would have the maturity to be polite and accept evidence in an argument. I was wrong. I will give you credit for being determined, a synonym for stubborn. We can`t afford to be both wrong and stubborn as it gets us no where. There are times in life to admit when we are wrong so we may indeed move on. If you are determined to keep believing the cat would win, then so be it, I won`t pursue this pointless argument further. I tried. Crowe
Again, ShaggyR, I must remark. Your first point is grammatically arguable, especially due to minor differences in English in different countries. Now, I`M telling you, because YOU do not know, an eagle has the ability to sever multiple digits from you hand with on slash of it`s talons. Oh, object to the high heavans if you wiil, but then ask Scott. I met him while on holiday four years ago, he handles birds of prey (including eagles). And guess what? He had an accident with one while giving it a booster. Now Scott types a little slower as he lost a thumb and two fingers. So don`t tell me something as fact while putting me down for ignorance, when the case it quite the reverse. Crowe
First, you`ll notice that I used the word "nails" only when making a common comparative statement to both the cat and the bird together...when speaking of the bird alone I used the word talons.
Second, I`m glad you agree with my Lee/Seagal comparison.
And third, I`m telling you (because you obviously don`t know) that when standing still and extending a leg forward an eagle generates very little power. If it got airborne before the cat attacked, then yes it would rip the cat to shreds. However, the argument here is based on the two fighting on foot...which I can guarantee you would result in one dead eagle.
ShaggyR, first, not `nails`, the term is `talons` for birds. Second, I have to agree with you on the Seagal / Lee comparisom. Third, picture this. You are trapped in a room with a vicious, hungry eagle. It attacks you. You fight. You managed to kill it. You have extensive gashes that are inches deep. You suffer and posiibly die from bloodloss. Same scenario, but with a cat. You fight and kill without much difficulty escaping with minor cuts to your arms and hands. You live a happy life with just two faint scars. The eagle has a crushing power enough to make your head burst like in the third Alien film. Lastly, `in order to use its talons that eagle would have to lie on its back`, do you feel you must lie upon your back if you are to kick anything? What about if you had the ability to make yourself airbourne? Crowe
And just out of curiosity.. Who said that this was a deck? I realize that the animals are on a railing of some sort but does that necessarily make it a deck? I doubt that this is photoshopped.
Heh. If it`s photoshopped I don`t care. Even if something is photoshopped you don`t need to shout `photoshopped` at it. Just enjoy the humour etc. Anyway if they had a fight they`d probably rip each other apart and neither would win.
If you determine that the bird wins simply because it has longer nails, then you are an idiot. That`s like saying Steven Seagal would have beaten Bruce Lee because Seagal had longer limbs and bigger muscles. Lee would have torn Seagal to pieces...just like a vicious cat could kill an eagle if they fought on level ground.
Think about it...in order to use it`s talons that eagle would have to lay on it`s back...if it stood there it would have no force whatsoever behind it. Those talons are awesome when moving at 200mph...but at a standstill? Cats are way better fighters. That eagles head would be missing if it fought on two feet against soe of the cats in my neighborhood.
Right, I feel kinda like I`m setting everyone to rights. First, the picture is untampered with unless a professional (the type of person who is paid alot to do so) has spent several weeks on it. There are full details including reflection, correct fur/feather light distortions, slight focus differences, etc. Second, the cat has a uniform curve to it`s tail, no offensive fur bristling/tail tip flicking/back arching. The cat is curious and concerned. As for the eagle, it is arched with head bowed ready for flight if it has to. The eagle is also concerned, but not so curious. It has recently eaten a moderately sized kill, probably a small rodent, as it`s crop bulges slightly. Birds are vunerable just after feeding as flight is inhibited by the extra weight and the food begining to digest requires energy tiring the bird somewhat. The eagle would rather fly away than waste energy on a kill it does not need. And yes, the eagle would win. Simply compare cat claw and eagle talon sizes. Crowe
I agee with Lord Jonathan, the cat could of just thought the eagle was intresting. But if they are fighting I really don`t know who would win a fight if the bird could not fly away on time.
Not argueing with you, joseffstalin, but I see four too. One is mostly eclipsed by the other but it`s there, like he`s in the middle of stepping towards the birdy.
I love how every1 screams photoshop. Do you think that once in the history of America something funy or odd has happened? Nope. It was all photoshopped. Keep on believing.
I agree with you orange_panty, that people who call PHOTOSHOPPED on everything are non-nice individuals, however, in this case i must agree with everyone who says photoshoped because of the simple fact that the cat only has three legs. The fourth leg is ether missing or, if it is behind the back leg then it would not be positioned on the banister itself.
People who call photoshop at everything make me puke. `Wow, I`m so smart, nobody can pull the wool over my eyes! I`m awesome at life!!` Way to go, retards
The cat doens`t look like he`s going to attack : his tail is up and his ears are going foreward. Neither does the birs : I think that if he was in a denfecinf/attacking mood, he d`be facing the feline and spreading his wing.
Cats do attack something larger than themselves, though - my cat (who`s fat, I admit) went after a German Shepherd (who took off at top speed) and had him fully on the run! I don`t know if that means he is brave or stupid, but I think it could happen....
You people think just because its walking over to it that they are going to fight? Its just curious. If the picture is real I bet the cat just sniffs around it and it flies away.
I dunno...I don`t think that photo could be real. I mean, an eagle perching on a deck? I`ve never seen that happen before, and I live near tons of eagles.
And if it was real, I don`t think the cat would win. It looks like a tame, fattened, somewhat lazy, housecat. And cats almost never attack something that is larger than themselves. The only exception is the lion, who hunts in a pack and can easily bring down a waterbuffalo. Housecats...no way. I bet the cat gave up.
What if they were friends like the cat and the crow? has anyone seen that one... i mean it could happen... my dog and my cat formed a friend ship i don`t see how that was bad.
but my cat and the birds outside are fine... only if the cat was dead the agle would be swooping around the cat. soo maybetheir friends... just maybe.
Ya know what? I bet the cat wins that fight. Seriously. Cats are so fast...if he can wound the bird`s wing then the bird is dead meat...the only way that bird wins is by swooping down and using flight velocity to carve up the cat with it`s nails. But sitting still the bird is not nearly as powerful...I`m telling you, the 200 mph flight speed is what makes these birds so deadly as they swoop down. At a standstill, I`d say it`s a 50/50 guess as to who would win between that bird and a vicious alley cat. Is that white cat vicious? I don`t know. But if it is I say it would win.
Supposedly curiosity did not kill the cat! Maybe the eagle respected the cats bravery.
Cats can fly?
:)
ha!! and shaggy ive got in a fierce fighyt with my cat and i havent lost my eyes yo idiot i just got realy long claw marks on my arm and if the eagle and the cat were to fight on solid ground the eagle would just flap its wing so it would now be one foot above ground and grab the cat and start pekking at it..god knows how messy it would get but the eagle would win i have a cat at home and im on the cats side i love cats my cat is realy fat andhe chases anny cat he sees out of the yard in seconds but if he were to meet an eagle there would be no battle so there you have it A CAT COULD NOT POSSSOBLY kill a eagle un lesss it was straperd down

Now go tend to your wheat field, Scare-Crowe.
You may think that you are the birdman of Alcatraz, but you really are nothing more than an ignoramous.
You show me one guy who has had his thumb ripped off by an eagle and I`ll show you 10 guys who have had their eyes ripped out by a cat.
The cat would win. Deal with it. Move on.
First, you`ll notice that I used the word "nails" only when making a common comparative statement to both the cat and the bird together...when speaking of the bird alone I used the word talons.

personally i think its funny how every one of the posts you make are insulting everyone with the exception of yourself
Yeah, and the men walking on mars is a whole photoshop joke. And Michael Jackson too.
Way to go, retards
But anyways, adorable picture.
if it is photoshoped someone did an extreamly good job
PHOTOSHOPPED.
My cat would tear that thing a new ass-hole anyways }-)

Oh, that poor cat.
