Kids with kids are becoming the norm, they should release that as a game. Hopefully teens will be too busy playing the game to get up to anything riskier than playing with a console!

Lol i`m allowed to be cynical, I had my first at 17. It was hard going.. I wish they had games like this when I was a teen! I have two teenage daughters now one of 19 & one of 16 and fortunately they love the sims and no pregnancy has occurred. So I really do hope they release this. Just until they`re a little older... Ideal age for pregnancy? 40!! lol I`m too young to be a gran!!!

Part of the reason why I don`t have sex is because I don`t want to risk getting pregnant- the only contraceptive that is 100% is abstinence!

Very nice ad. I think one of the best things about it is that it`s encouraging condoms and birth control and the like over abstinence. It`s more than a little silly to believe that people will be abstinent now adays... It`s good to see the encouragement of contraceptives.

Man, that baby was scary. ;-)

i find it quit odd that some people consider abstinence the best way to not get diseases or pregnant. contraceptives are meant to protect you from sexually transmittable diseases and pregnancy when you`re HAVING SEX .If you`re abstinent you`re not having sex and therefor do not need to be protected. if people decide to have sex they need to know how to protect themselves. even when you`re married it`s a good idea to know how to prevent becoming pregnant unwanted, unless you don`t mind having 10 kids no matter whether you can provide for them or not. saying that abstince is the way to protect yourself and not get pregnant seems to me as silly as saying that not building houses or not going onto a construction site is the best way to not get hurt, but that doesn`t help those people who do choose to work there or build, you need to tell those people to put a helmet on and be careful.

No. No. No leenukuh There is a chance that the condom will break, the birth pill won`t work, stuff like that. However, if you abstain, there is absolutely NO chance whatsoever that you will get pregnant or get an STD. You aren`t going to wake up one morning and find yourself pregnant. It doesn`t happen that way. And as for your simile about construction workers, that is a NEED, that is their JOB, sex before marriage is neither a job or a need.

You just got told by a fourteen year-old

Actually, ChickenMan, while it no longer happens as often (since conditions are getting more sanitary), there used to be cases of enlisted folks getting STDs because someone had a little too much fun on the bed before them, and if you just go in, crash on a cot, and you like to sleep naked...well, the odds are very good for against, but it used to happen when guys had to share bunks.

And there are still cases of AIDS being transmitted through blood transfusions in other countries. NEVER say abstinence is 100% effective. More like 98% effective.

Abstinence is also very hard to maintain at times...you cannot tell me that sometimes, with inhibitions lowered, hormones don`t take over. They do. I`m still a virgin, but some of my friends lost their virginity in this way. They meant to remain abstinent but found it hard to keep it up under their circumstances.

You have got to be kidding me. If someone "Had fun" before you on a bed, and you slept there naked, there is absolutely no chance that you will get an STD from that. The only way you can get an STD is from intercourse or blood transfusion. (They are cutting down on this because they are TESTING people before giving blood). I find it easy to maintain abstinence, although at times, i do have my urges

    www.health.qld.gov.au/sexhealth/ documents/22040_Crabs_Pubic_Lice.pdf">

Pubic lice, which counts as an STD, IS transmitted through bedsheets and clothing.

Also, while I highly doubt this, there`s the tiny possibility of an open wound coming in contact with the leftover fluids. I do highly doubt that, but I`m sure there`s a slim slim chance there.

I don`t think of Pubic lice being an STD. I mean life threatening diseases, or diseases that never go away, such as HIV AIDS, Herpes, Genital Warts, Chlamydia, stuff like that.

"You just got told by a fourteen year-old"

Adding that just makes you sound more immature, honestly.

"I find it easy to maintain abstinence, although at times, i do have my urges"

You`re also fourteen, apparently. It`s not that difficult when you`re only fourteen. :-P

"The only way you can get an STD is from intercourse or blood transfusion."

Not just intercourse. Do you not know there`s other forms of sexual contact? Frottage, oral, anal, mutual masturbation?

Also some can be spread through non-sexual contact; herpes is often spread through kissing (the cause of cold sores).
