It reminds me of an interview I once watched with an Obsessive Compulsive woman who thought the number four had magical significance. Her rationale was based on the fact that if you add up the letters in any number, then add up the letters in the subsequent number, etc. etc. you eventually get to four and can`t go any farther.

eg: Eighteen (8 letters), Eight (5 letters), Five(4 letters), Four (4), Four, Four

A normal person would realize that this happens because the number four is written with 4 letters. Someone like her, however, would look for special significance in roadsigns and make a website detailing it.

Ah...Too many numbers?! o.O 69 minus 2 plus 34 plus -823 divided by the sum of the difference of 56 and 72, and 82 and 44. Figure that out, smart person?! I don`t even know if it makes sense.-.-

Well, I never even *GOT* as far as thinking the whole thing was a waste of time, because I couldn`t get into the site without a google pop-up ad covering half the text with no "close" button. ...Which made the whole thing an even *BIGGER* waste of time.

so, anything that you can think would work mathematically when it`s not ment to be is that cool? Let`s say I get 50$ one day and had to spend 45$ that leaves ... 5! and thats a factor of 50! OMG

it`s simply interesting
people who like math like me sometimes see some simple equations in no math-related numbers
