yeah looks pretty close to the ones they have in Canada, but yeah they dont really work with smokers and in europe they smoke really bad... almost as bad as in Quebec ( where they have ashtrays in the washroom)

lol my favorite was "smoking causes impotence" with a pic of a bent cig. If i were to ever smoke, which i wouldnt, I would try collecting all of the warning signs

We`ve had those for ages in Canada. No one likes the rotten teeth. I think it`d work better if they were just huge packages of rotten teeth. Hell, they should print the rotten teeth right on the cigarettes themselves!

Yes, we have them in Canada. And so we`d buy our cigarettes and then find creative ways to cover the packages so we didn`t have look at the gruesome pictures. Those ads worked for me though, I got tired of looking at the grim future and I quit.

yeah...people here (canada) don`t even think twice about them anymore. I sell tobacco where I work, and maybe once every 6 months or so will a customer actually ask me not to give them the `rotten teeth` one...if they complain about anything it`d be the price of them...which should be enough to make anyone quit...the way I see it, they`re paying $8.63 a pack to slowly kill themselves..*shrug*

Get people to stop smoking by putting fake numbers to call? Brilliant. I wonder what happens to those who do call. XP

these have been in Europe for a while. they ar not new. in Norway we have had them for a couple of years now... just so you know, it`s not new. we have also banned smoking in bars, pubs and clubs now. you basically can`t smoke indoors at all.

People know what hurts them, but they don`t care. They continue doing it.

You know, they should have this in the United States. It might make a difference, even if a tiny one.
I would suggest they put even more graphic and disturbing pictures on the cigarette cartons.

That picture of the man with the cancerous-looking growth on this throat should be enough to make anybody quit.

Wow, those look...convincing. I guess if you`re a longtime smoker, these things don`t have as much of an effect on you.
