    Canada does not "stay out of stuff." This map just showes that no one bothered to attack Canada in the last 100 years.

    Canada jumped in head first in both world wars (ahead of the US even). They ended the stalemate on the Western Front in WW1 (Vimy Ridge), got slaughtered in Dieppe during WWII, advanced furthest inland out of all the D-Day landings and added to the body count in Korea.

    In fact, Canadian soldiers have been "sticking their noses in" from as early as the first shots of WW1 right up to and including the current conflict in Afghanistan.
