I`m a slow reader but kind of a fast typer. I started at 247 and ended up at 277. That`s what I expected from something that worked.
    But...480 to 677? Yhea right.

444 to 471 for me. It doesn`t test comprehension. Anyone can move their eyes across the screen faster. Does anyone remember what the storeies were about?

Mine went from six-hundred-eighty-something to nine-hundred-forty-something...but I already knew how to speedread. I never needed a program like this to learn...I started reading when I was like two and scanning with good comprehension is just something that I can kind of...do.

Katha, the first story was about Marco Polo and how he was the first Westerner to see most Far Eastern and Middle Eastern countries, and the second one was about Frederic Chopin.

Mine only increased very slightly...from 366 to 378...not much of a difference! The first time I was slow because I had to scroll up before I got to the top of the story and it had already started timing me.

It doesn`t improve your speed reading...you`re simply encouraged to read faster at the end because you`re supposed to do better. You instinctively read more quickly because you know that you should improve.

YOU ARE ALL IDIOTS! The passage at the end was shorter then the Benjamin Franklin passage and much easier to read. Of course your time is going to increase. EyeQ is a shame and they want dumb people like all of you to pay them money to make you think you are increasing your reading speed.

even if the second passage was shorter (i didn`t actually check)- it measures your speed in WORDS
PER MINUTE. length of the selection is included in the analysis. this wouldn`t work as it is given...it doesn`t check your reading comprehension...it only trains you to move your eyes faster. if you did this everyday for about 15 minutes, however, your reading speed would increase greatly.

but i`m a fairly fast reader...dunno how all of you who are getting two hundreds in the first one get six hundreds in the second...my opinion is that you dont read a lot and you just read a normal pace first time and then really try to beat it the next...nothing wrong with that...just wondering where that would be coming from
