Not exactly amazing. There are only a handful of numbers that your answer could possibly be - and they all have the same symbol. Unless you suck at math, it will always "guess" your answer.

My algebra teacher taught us this trick last year when he got sick of us complaining about hoe boring math is. It`s a simple trick. Still weird, but simple.

such an easy trick. everyone will end up having the same final numbers. like they are always the same no matter the numbers. so the only answers that can come up get the same symbol. yeah i am good at explaining.....hahahah

An algebraic proof for any 2 digit number XY, where X and Y are integers between 0 and 9.

Take the number, equal to 10X + Y, and subtract from it the sum of the two digits, equal to X + Y. The full algebraic expression is 10X + Y - (X + Y), which equals 9X. This proves that the number will always be a multiple of 9.

Example: 32: 3 * 10 + 2 - (3 + 2) = 3 * 9 = 27.

If you will notice the symbols change each time but all multiples of nine will have the same symbol. very neat, I don`t care what anyone says. saw a similar card trick

Wrong!!! the numbers will always be 18 27 36 45 54 63 67 77 81 96. Look at those numbers they are all the same symbol and that is always the symbol chosen.
