"This is How You Remind Me" was catchy for all of 2 minutes when it first came out. Then it became yet another generic bland rock song that we will all forget about in 10 years. Music is supposed to be a form of self-expression, and well, I guess these guys don`t have very much to express.
Yeah, they sound the same. But what can you expect when you have a big hit like their 2001 song and expectations are high follow up with another hit? I guess some bands have the balls to come up with something original, but they chose to be wussies.
Differences: Bass plays different rhythms, treble harmonies added on right side but not left, obviously the melody of the lyrics and the lyrics themselves are different.
If you put the lyrics to one song to the other song, it probaly sound just fine and only nickelback fans would notice.
its like they added some harmonies, changed up the rhythms, put new lyrics to it and came out with a "new" song.
I`m just getting tired of it. What`s your favorite band, what`s your favorite song, omg you like them, omg how can you not like them, I bet you like this, I bet you like that, blah blah blah
I`m sorry I don`t have answers to those things, hey don`t matter just shut up and enjoy the music people, I don`t give a crap who the band is, I don`t give a crap about anything other than whether the music sounds nice and does something for me.
I mean what if the tune was awesome but the song sucked Donkeyballs, and the song later created for the old tune rocked along with the old tune?
I really don`t get you music critics, if something sounds good who give`s a f*ck? I mean really, you make no sense. Does it sound good? Does it pump your adreneline or bring out certain emotions?
Does it in anyway do what music is supposed to do? If the answer to any of those is yes, then shut up.
Music is there to be enjoyed, nothing more nothing less. Who makes the music, doesn`t matter, the musical style, doesn`t matter, whether it sounds nice and does what it`s supposed to that`s what matters.
did you hear that?that was music.going down the drain.
bring back good music...
i hate how MTV and radiostations control what we listen to. they could at least throw out some good music.
