Link: Firefox IE - A version of Firefox made to look and feel just like IE.

Not sure exactly what the point of this is.

I use this all the time at work so I can get the people leery of new things to use firefox instead of IE because I`m sick of having to clean up all their spyware they gather from downloading stupid games and screensavers. It works great

Its tought to get people that aren`t computer literate to use something new. So instead of forcing them, trick them.

I wonder if I could replace IE on my dad`s computer with this to see if he notices. Then maybe I could find a version of Linux that looks exactly like Windows. Of course he`d probably kill me if he ever found out. :-P

Im really lost. Is Firefox`s interface so confusing to IE users that they would want to download this? Frankly, I think Firefox`s interface is much more pleasing to the eye

That seems kinda redundant. I only use Firefox as a backup when my IE starts acting up.

"i dont even think there is anything wrong with internet explorer"

I don`t wanna go on a rant here but, it`s suprising how even when the FBI says there something wrong with IE people still don`t understand.

If you don`t know whats wrong with IE this is the reason for themes like this Firefox theme. So network admins like myself can make their lives easier without all the hassle of getting people switch

I see your point but in my personal opinion firefox is easier to use and looks better. I am an IT Co-ordinator, so here at my workplace i choose what we run etc, and we all run this.

But i do see the point about needing firefox because of ad and spyware... but i like running ad aware... i like seeing the numbers go weeeeeeeeeee

Davala, I get some satisfaction of running spybot/adaware on some people`s computers and going "Stop fooling around and work more or I`m cutting off internet privileges." too but when you get an IE window that has 20 search bars on it and about an inch of real estate for actual websites...

Well, I for one fully understand the need for this. There are many users who refuse to change to a safer program because IE is what they KNOW. This is a good incentive for people to switch.
