Is this a good idea? You know kids will just make them fight with each other.

I`ll stick to the Jesus action figure "with gliding action!" that Spencer`s sells. If I ever want one.

ok, maybe i`m taking this the wrong way, but aren`t you just saying that God is the root of the creation of everything? ya know like he just made stuff and let it go from there? because if so, i dont see any reason for you to make any reference to the Bible, you`re simply making your own theology/philosophy. and so what? thats one chapther of one book, what about everything else? what of noah? what of moses? what of the other prophets? and obviously, what of Jesus?

thank you for your support, JLiu. and I am a believer in God. However, I don`t view the Bible literally. For instance, the Bible says that the Earth (and all else) was created in 6 days (on the seventh God rested)...I believe this...however... i don`t believe they were six days of 24 hours... they would be days of billions upon billions of years.

so wait, hobyandy, do you belive in God or not? because, going by that belief still says there is a God(the Christian one or other wise), so wouldn`t we be obligated to that god? which is all without saying,(correct me if i`m wrong) that no religious book/writing(at least from the old world) mentions any such thing?(and yes, i do realize that evolution and darwinism came later)

^and this is why Hobyandy is, in my opinion, one of the most intelligent people on this site. He NEVER makes a statement without first thinking it out, and acquiring the knowledge to back it up. Plus the fact that he is a stickler for correctness and the little things.
That said, dito on his three posts. Even though this was not necessarily a religious link, it has turned into one. I love the fact that some of you, I will not single anyone out, like to follow the "do as I say, not as I do" rule. You want to evangelize as the bible says, but you seem to be skipping over the some of the parts in the bible. I`ve seen your posts throughout the site. I must say they are not very Christian like, and very hypocritical. If you want to spread the word of G_d try understanding all of it first. I would have expected this in the religious rank link, not the action figure one, but that could be just me.

lol weird. Those wouldn`t be very fun for a kid to play with though. Unless they`re like rod and tod from the simpsons.

i *do* believe in both God and evolution. It`s called theistic evolution, and i just wrote a thesis paper on it (so i do have some studies in the area, Jenifee). This states that God created man, but used evolution as his "laboratory" to mold man into what he is today.

Job(johb) is the best. But i bought adam and eve, plus mini genitalia. I also bought 2 baby jesuses from a different website so Adam and Eve can have cain and abel.

Don`t try to have a serious theological debate on these forums. The majority of you are not prepared with the knowledge to back up your claims other than your own exclusive opinion.

Plus, these are awesome.

um3k, thats my point, for the people that do belive that God made man, they were not apes. and duh they were naked, the clothes got them thrown out, remember? maybe you should stop, think, and research a little before opening your mouth

Kinda useless. How can you actually make Job an "action" figure? All he does in the story is sit and talk.

I`d make Adam and Eve make out.

Hobyandy, I do doubt that they were white, I do doubt that they would have perfect hairless bodies like that, but on top of that I doubt that Adam and Eve existed at all. So problem solved.

Correct me if I`m wrong, but isn`t the idea of a Jesus-doll sacrilegious?

"And, if he did, he would have made them naked."

They were naked until right before they were cast out of the garden... So the leaf-garments should be detachable. :-P

God didn`t make man. And, if he did, he would have made them naked. Obviously, these toys are wrong, whichever way you look at it.

uh, how exactly do you think God made man?
and people that belive in creation, do not consider evolution at all, unless they are confused in just what they belive in

haha, sleepy cat.

and smigbaafm: there is proof of evolution to some degree. i doubt that they would have perfectly built and hairless bodies like that.

What?---no Malachi? What about Mary Magdelene? No Satan?

ok, hobyandy, the fact that they would be ape-like foregoes the actual belief, but I must agree that they were probably not "white"

WHAT?---i like how they gave them the `standard catholic` image. i think we can all safely assume that NONE of these people were white and that adam and eve appeared more ape-like than human.
