"The biggest issue is freedom. We do things and soldiers do things so that their kids can sit at home and watch TV and not have to worry about what`s going to happen. My Mom would always ask me, "Do you like playing Play Station?" And I would say, yeah, and she was like, `That`s why they`re doing that (the soldiers in Desert Storm) so you can sit at home and you don`t have to worry about anything."

Another guy said he does not regret anything. These stories break my heart, but I hold them to my heart, because they are the strongest people I have ever known.

These are so sad. I saw some of these people recieve their purple hearts at Brooke Army Medical Center the other day. It was very depressing.

You don`t think it`s worth it for us to be over there??? I really wonder where this world has been going to with half of us Americans being so against our own contry and government. I do understand that everyone is entitled to thier own opinions, but sheesh! This would never have happened during WWI or WWII! It is the American citizen that is making this into annother Vietnam!

Don`t get me wrong, I completely feel bad that these people did get hurt, and I have alot of respect for them and what they did for me. You know that when you enlist for service that there is a chance that you could get hurt or even killed. Everyone that is in the service knows this and accepts it before they join up. These people are awesome and deserve everyone`s respect!
