Link: Excess All Areas - This site tells you the effects of various drugs.

My advise is to stay away from most stuff.

Ha, only most stuff? Hey... J/k. Dude, I like this site. It`s cool and really interesting. Except after reading the effects, it kind of made me want to try them.

LOL Yeah I kinda felt they were sending mixed messages too. I noticed also that one of the side effects to mushrooms and coke was stupid hair.

Very well done site, I actually knew most of those effects (study, not personal experience in most cases), and honestly, it`s hard not to send mixed messages about drugs. In some countries they are not illegal and are an accepted, if somewhat frowned upon, portion of the culture, like drinking in the States. Besides, it`s about time the States gave up on the "War on Drugs" they seem to have discovered a much more entertaining enemy in the "War on Terror."

ikari- The thing about ganj is that virtually all the problems caused by it are because it`s illegal (in most countries anyway). Compared to alcohol it causes fewer social problems (when was the last time you saw stoned people fighting?). You can`t overdose on it, unlike alcohol. Weed does have one serious health risk though, it does have more impurities and crap in it than tobacco smoke, and can lead to taking up smoking fags.

If it was legal then the price would probably halve straight away, even with all the tax the government would put on it, making a lot of people a lot less poor.

As for the site I liked it. Trying to scare people away from drugs doesn`t work, and they can make you feel good, but for most of them there`s a reason they`re illegal

Yep, that what i was talking about tax man...
I live in Brasil, drug traffic is the worst thing here... too many people get killed cuz too many people smoke green poo... thats why i hate marijuana... not cuz it makes you a "happy" person ...

But, if we legalize... would be a economy chaos...

So... its kindda a dead end.. :(

My guess is that I`m older than most here; I`m 39 and a recovered addict, a veteran of a year in rehab and clean now for six and a half years. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised by the coolness of the comments here. You guys seem to have a much more mature attitude towards drugs than we did and I hope that it keeps you healthy.
I understand the concerns about talking about the "good" effects of drugs, but I feel you have to. It takes away some of the mystery, and allows people to decide whether that description is worth the risks. To fight pressure to try something then they need ammo on both sides of the equation - not just "it`s too risky," but also "it`s too risky just to feel giddy." If the only information someone has about a drug is a friend sincerely telling them "it`s just completely awesome" then that doesn`t give them enough to say no and mean it.

Again, thanks for having your heads on straight. . .

Cool music... I have strong feelings about pot. I won`t rant, but from personal experience (my own and people close to me) pot is more subversive than people are willing to admit or even realize. It can stunt emotional and behavioral growth if used at a young age. It puts barriers between people because it numbs emotions. It causes more damage than cigs on the lungs and esophagus... I know it seems harmless, but then talk to people who have had time to watch it destroy people they love and relationships they cherish. Just a thought.
