Link: Postal Expermients - For all the bad press they get, the USPS is pretty cool. They will mail about anything.

    :-)

I hardly agree with this. Maybe it`s just Vegas, but we get other people`s mail more than we get our own. My whole family subscribes to an assortment of magazines and we have had a million problems receiving them. We finally found out that the post office had actually sent a letter to our magazine companies informing them that the magazines were "undeliverable". This was only days after we had sent in the 2nd formal complaint. If only they were this good.

That was pretty interesting. My friend sent me a birthday card full of confetti, and it arrived several days late. It had been torn open and retaped and placed in another envelope with a note saying it had been "inadvertently damaged in handling". I wonder if they were suspicious of the confetti? Hmmmm.

The postal workers make enough money to put mail in a mailbox (all the while listening to music, smoking a cigarette, or whatever else) that they should at least be able to get the mail in the right box. That`s there job. That`s all they have to do and still they constantly fail. Not as reliable as everyone believes. Along with my magazines I also stopped receiving my bank statements. Sorry, that`s where I draw the line. If something that important fell into the wrong hands it could be chaos. This country probably would screech to a halt, but that doesn`t mean they need to be any less attentive to their job.

"Please be advised that human remains may not be transported through the mail, but we assumed this to be of sentimental value, and made an exception in your case."

    XD I found this hilarious.

    my favorite one was:
"Large wheel of cheese. The cheese was already extremely ripe (rancid) at the time of mailing. Mailed in cardboard box. The cheese had oiled its way through the bottom of the cardboard box by the time of pickup, 8 days. The box had been placed in a plastic bag. "
