Just seems like an insane jump, to go from half a gig to 2000 gigs!
On average, a picture taken with a 5mP camera at a pixelation rate of 1024x768 at best quality would fill about 2mB.

That`s approx. 512 for every gig; multiplied by 1000 = 512,000 pictures per 1000 gigs; multiplied by 2 =

Approx. 1,000,000 pictures on this card AT BEST QUALITY.

At lowest quality, you can expect to multiply that number by about 15 (15,000,000 pictures at lowest quality).

But that`s only if you plan to use it for pictures. Obviously it can be used for more than that.

I`ve never even seen a 2000gig HARD drive, let alone a memory card :-P.

2TB (TeraByte) = 2048 gigs boys and girls. That`s all *I* gotta say. Just last year did peripheral companies begin supporting the use of the new (then) 512mB (.5 gig) SD card. Welcome to the next giant leap in technology.
