Link: Google Browser? - We know Microsoft is building a search, but is Google building an IE-killer?

I hope it`s a good browser, secure and everything, I`m really not fond of IE.

Google got a ton of hype about gmail (as useless as it is), so a google browser`ll probably do well.

Interesting. I seriously don`t see what`s wrong with IE. I have Mozilla, but I don`t use it much because a lot of things don`t work with it.

Google is great for search on the web. But don`t forget that google is free for a reason. It watches everything you search for and can recognize your computer online. I use it anyway because it`s so needed.

The latest thing Google has been doing is to offer Google-Desktop and toolbar. These run in your computer, and scan your computer HD in order to work. This means they can also make all sorts of personal notes about your personal computer. That`s where I draw the line! No one ever considers why google is free, this is why. Now a browser?!! It started with Google only being able to see what you searched for IN Google ONLY. Now they will watch every site you go to. If you buy extended google (use paypal/visa), they also know you not by IP, but by personal credit card/address/name etc. Come on people! It may not be the worst scenario, but what will privacy be like in 2, 3 5 years? Will we have any? I am sticking with Firefox or Mozilla and occasional ie period.

That link gave me a Trojan. Thankfully my anti-virus alterted me and removed it.

Check for viruses if you`ve clicked there.

"That link gave me a Trojan"...

How odd Dinosore! I`m glad you said that. I just posted a warning about another link on i-am-bored that had a trojan virus. I warned people too. So this makes the 2nd link on this site that tried to install a trojan! Anyone who doesn`t have an anti-virus program is asking for it.

Ah, the beginning of the greats, Firefox and Chrome. At the moment im writing this, My opinion is that Firefox is better than chrome (firefox has a hell of a lot more stuff than chrome, but that`ll probably change). Also atm, google`s working on their chrome OS, which should be interesting...
