The "Roommate" one is the best, but it`s not a finalist.

I like Bush Sucks under "Funniest", PoP Quiz under "Youth" and all of the animated spots. Too bad they are only going allow one of the Bush in 30 second spots to air on nationwide TV. I like Repair Shop but not as much as the animated spots. Those are great, imo.

I don`t like any of them. They seem a bit overly aggressive. No one will learn anything from them. Most people will just disregard them all.

Yes they are aggresive but it seems to me that they are straight foward and informative. Why wont people learn from them?

Because anyone who doesn`t already agree with them is going to ignore them.

They aren`t very straight forward, at least not the ones I saw. They don`t use many facts and just use opinions, regardless of validity.

That is the sad truth about many people, but hopefully it may cause some to think.

"They don`t use many facts and just use opinions"

That is why anyone who doesn`t already agree with them is going to ignore them. I`m more likely to consider an alternative viewpoint if it is presented with supporting facts rather than opinion and propaganda.

It reminds me of the ad run against Bush in 2000 that claimed that Bush was responsible for the dragging death of James Byrd. Some have no credibility because they just go too far.

Well, I agree that they`re severe. But then three years ago I never thought any of this would have happened, necessitating their severity.

No. Everyone has heard all the accusations they made. It`s not funny any more. They need facts.

The people that find it funny are the people that already agree. They`re preaching to themselves.

"That`s not true at all Cow. Humor can win over many a people."

Feeling a little redundant today Wise?

As far as humor goes, I agree that it can be an effective tool. Unfortunately, most of the ads really aren`t that humorous. It`s kind of like the `Bush looks like a chimp` pictures--at first it was somewhat amusing, but now that it`s 3 years later, it`s just old and stupid.
